There is so much to do in and around the Inn At Spanish Head. You'll find many events that happen on a regular basis throughout the year, so check out the ONGOING events below for whale watching, theatre, cooking classes and fun entertainment. Then, check the individual monthly events for festivals, special hikes, birding, canoeing, plant sales and much, much more. Finders Keepers on the Beach
October 15, 2011 - Memorial Day, 2012

Glass floatsWeather and ocean conditions permitting, every day colorful hand-blown glass floats are placed on the beach. If you find a float, bring it to the Lincoln City Visitors Center at 540 NE Hwy 101 to receive your certificate of authenticity and a biography of the artist who made the float. SUMMER WHALES

There are about 200 - 400 gray whales that do not go as far north as Alaska to feed in the summer.  We generally have feeding whales on the central coast from July through October.  These whales are very close to the shore while feeding and are often spotted from higher view points.
